Bio-Kat 10-1000 is an all-natural, metabolic stimulant that controls production of hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, and corrosion in wastewater collection systems and treatment plants. Bio-Kat stimulates the aerobic micro-organisms to levels at which they reduce the organic electron donor molecules available to the anaerobic sulfide, reducing micro-organisms for their sustained metabolism.
This mechanism, along with the reduction in the anoxic laminar layer that exists at the interface of the pipe and the water stream, further reduces the viability of H2S-producing bacteria. Reducing or eliminating sulfuric acid in the system creates a more neutral pH, and corrosion is reduced dramatically.
Bio-Kat is patented (U.S. Patent 20110139713) and contains marine algal extracts, plant-derived surfactants, a blend of vitamins, anti-foaming, and anti-corrosion inhibitors. Packaging is 5 gallon pails, 55 gallon drums, and 275 gallon totes. Prices include freight; F.O.B. Destination.
